To tell you the truth, I hate Cross Country, why I do it every year is still a mystery. It's addicting you see...once you start you can't stop! Either you get through perfectly fine, or you are sitting on the side because of some stupid injury you got the other day, but no matter what you are part of the team, injured or not.
Maybe that's what I like about it. The "solo" feel I get when I run. Who cares if it took you a half an hour to run 3 miles (which sucks by the way) no one can do anything about it! It could even be a personal best for some.
You run against time. It makes you feel good when Father Time has straggled in behind you. and that's the thrill of it
Today I have a time trial, and I am really hoping that I do well. I'm going to push myself so that I'm not one of the ones coming in at 30mins. Wish me luck!

saludos!
